We will make any necessary repairs, paint, clean or replace the carpet.
Yes. We also have 24-hour on-site maintenance.

Service is done by occupied maintenance staff who are trained and screened to do work in occupied apartments. If any work needs to be done by a contractor, the contractor will be accompanied by a member of occupied maintenance or management. When a service request is placed by a resident, the resident is able to state whether or not maintenance can enter without the resident being home. Also, if routine or preventative maintenance is required in the apartment, a 24-hour notice is provided before maintenance enters the apartment.
The maintenance staff can let you into your apartment or you can request an additional key from the leasing office.
We want you to make the apartment your home. Small nail holes are allowed.
We have a sister property nearby, Brookside. There is a pool at Brookside Apartments that Fairlane residents are welcome to use. Also there is a community building at Brookside Apartments that Fairlane residents may rent.
The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. The pool may occasionally be closed for maintenance or inclement weather.
Open parking is available.
There is a laundry room available in each building. The washers and dryers take payment in the form of coins or a smart phone app may be used.
Yes, some fees and restrictions apply.
There is a one-time, non-refundable pet fee where applicable and additional monthly pet rent per pet in the unit. Please see our Pet Policy on the Amenities page for additional information.

There are no specific quiet hours. There is a rental fee and a refundable security deposit for renting the community building.
There is no fee for taking a tour. Please contact the leasing office. We would be happy to show you our community.
You may make an appointment or walk in. Our hours are 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday.
Management is available to speak with by phone or on a walk-in basis.

Applications are typically processed in just a few business days.
At move in you will pay your Security deposit, Administrative fee, and prorated rent for the month of move in.

Rent may be paid online, via check mailed to our Kalamazoo office, or through the 3rd party WIPS system.
Rent may be paid online via an automatic withdrawal or a one time payment may be made each month.
Payments for any services such as cable, internet, or Dish Network are due monthly.
Heat, water, sewer, and trash pickup are included in your rent.
The only utility that you need to set up is electricity. You can set it up by contacting Consumers Energy at 1-800-477-5050.
The only internet and cable provider allowed on the property is Bloom Broadband. The leasing office can give you more information about the internet and cable packages that are available.
Unfortunately, we currently do not offer a resident referral bonus.
Guests are welcome at the community.
Our rental rates vary based on several factors, including the lease term selected. We encourage you to browse the pricing information on our website. We do not offer a discount for advance payments.
Subletting is not permitted. If you need to modify the leaseholders, please contact the leasing office for more information.
If you break your lease early, a 60-day notice is required, and the fee is 200% of your monthly rental rate.
The nearest city bus stop is approximately a 25 minute walk from Fairlane Apartments.
We are located within walking distance of Valley View Elementary School and Springfield Middle School. We are also within 5 miles of several grocery stores, gas stations, the Battle Creek VA Medical Center, the Fort Custer Industrial Park, and the Fort Custer Recreation Area.
We are located in the Battle Creek Public School District.
The Home Run Dog Park is located approximately 5 miles away in Bailey Park.
There are bike trails located at the nearby Fort Custer Recreation Area.
There are several grocery stores within 5 miles. Also, Lakeview Square Mall is located approximately 5 miles away and is near several large stores including Kohl's, Hobby Lobby, and Target.
There is a Biggby Coffee located about 2.5 miles from the property.
